So it’s Halloween. Which means people are in costume today. Even at work. And even, apparently, in Olympia.

This includes Washington Secretary of State Kim Wyman, who according to the official Secretary of State blog is “channeling her inner rocker chick today by dressing up apparently as an ’80s-era combination of Joan Jett and Lita Ford.”

Naturally, there are pictures.

“She’s even playing some chords at her desk, although she refuses to take requests,” writes Deputy Communications Director Brian Zylstra of Wyman’s Halloween attire.

Among conservatives, of course, Wyman was already a rock star – as the only Republican to hold a state-wide office. One can only assume this display of kick-assery will only increase her street cred.
