Today’s news from the department of ouch comes from Clarkston, Wash., where KXLY reports that a 62-year-old man was found naked in the street Tuesday morning with his genitalia severed. According to the story, the “genitalia was recovered by law enforcement for possible reattachment.”

According to KXLY:

Around 4:20 a.m. Asotin County Sheriff’s Office and Clarkston City Police Department responded to a report of a naked man lying in the road on the 1400 block of 5th Street. They located the man with severed genitalia.

The individual was transported to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center where he is being treated. The genitalia was recovered by law enforcement for possible reattachment.

The good news is KXLY reports that the Asotin County Sheriff’s Office believes there is no imminent threat or danger to the community – which is probably reassuring to everyone but the 62-year-old man and his severed genitalia.
