This ad has been flagged by Craigslist If there’s anything we’ve learned from late night reruns of “The Odd Couple,” it’s that being an old person and sharing a home with a fellow old person can be contentious business. Case in point: On Saturday police arrested a 60-year-old south Seattleite after he allegedly beat and then stabbed his roommate–who is also 60-years-old.By the time police arrived at the scene, the stab-ee had fled to a neighbor’s house. Once questioned, he told officers that his roommate had threatened his life, stabbed him in the hand with a knife and then struck him over the head multiple times.Minutes later, the officers went next door to question the stabber, only to find the evidently spry sexagenarian climbing over the backyard fence in an attempt to flee. He was eventually taken into custody and booked into King County. No word on what he’s been charged with yet, but he’s already been found guilty of a breach of roommate etiquette far worse than forgetting to flush the toilet.
