The city’s Landmarks board voted 6-3 last night to grant the Ballard Denny’s building landmark status, thus protecting it from being razed in favor of a condo development. Denny’s likely ain’t comin’ back — we wonder whether a boutique version of its terminally ill neighbor, Sunset Bowl, might fit in that building.
