The Broadway Farmers Market’s ever-growing vendor list is giving other popular markets

The Broadway Farmers Market’s ever-growing vendor list is giving other popular markets in Ballard and U-District a run for their money. According to CHS, the Neighborhood Farmers Market Alliance is considering turning the seasonal market (temporarily located on the corner of Broadway and Pine) into a year-round affair. Several new specialty sellers are debuting this year, including Venezuelan food stall Orale Chamo; creamsicle, sorbet and ice pop maker Six Strawberries; and gluten-free bakery d:floured. The season opens April 21. Here’s a complete 2013 vendor list.

In other news, Eater reports that the Lost Pelican opened its doors in the space formerly occupied by Bisato at 2400 1st Ave. in Belltown. Not to be confused with Wallingford/Edmonds breakfast and lunch spot the Rusty Pelican, the new bar is open from 3 p.m. to 2 a.m. daily. Brunch is also in-the-works.
