reports that Reed has been charged with first-degree child rape and first-degree child molestation:Prosecutors allege he inappropriately touched and exposed himself to the daughter of a woman he knows over a six-month period this year. He also had her inappropriately touch him, according to charging papers.The girl, the daughter of one of Reed’s friends, apparently described several inappropriate incidents she had with Reed, some in which he touched her, some where he forced her to touch him.The girl’s mother said the two were close, and Reed apparently described having a strong “bond” with the girl. The councilman will have to show up to court Sept. 29 for arraignment.As of Thursday night, Reed wasn’t returning phone calls.Follow The Daily Weekly on Facebook and Twitter.
