Speaking of D.B. Cooper, as we do today, KING-TV recently followed up the New York magazine piece, taking video of the Cooper files in the Seattle FBI basement; not much new but the files were rarely seen by outsiders. However, though the FBI believes Cooper is dead – a handy way to solve the case – the agency says it has a DNA sample from his tie, should a real live suspect step into their crosshairs. Both KING and the AP report the FBI doesn’t believe the NY mag suspect is Cooper. To be continued…forever.
