After hitting ridership over 122,000 during 2006, the season was extended through the end of October. During the I-5 construction of doom, it carried 2,300 people over in nine days. It’s a small little ship, but it makes living in West Seattle feel less irrelevant and it’s a great way to start or end your day out on the water, thinking about the things that make life worth living – like water taxis.King County Councilor Dow Constantine is trying to extend the service. But for now, pack a lunch, hit the deck, and enjoy the last days of water taxi bliss.
