Seattle Police found one man deceased lying behind a metro bus around 6 o’clock this morning. The fatal collision occurred at the Capitol Hill intersection of 11th and Pine.

Three people were aboard the bus, however none claim to have witnessed the incident.

At the time of the collsion, the adult male victim was reportedly crossing the street in the middle of the block, rather than at the crosswalk, however SPD is still investigating the cause of the collision. The 11th and 12th block of Pine is currently cordoned and the 11 and 10 metro lines are being rerouted to avoid the area.

The incident comes five days after unrelated Metro bus trouble, when a driver went the wrong way on an I-5 expressway.
