Not only does traffic in this density-happy haven suck, but so do its drivers. In fact, Seattle is among the very worst place to be on the road in the entire nation.

According to the Allstate’s ninth annual “Allstate America’s Best Drivers Report,” Seattle finished a pathetic 160 of the country’s 194 largest cities as far as how often we crash into each other.

The report found that the average motorist in Seattle will have an auto collision every 7.8 years, which makes us almost 29 percent more likely than the national average, which is 10 years.

Tacoma is no great shakes, either, coming it at 144. Vancouver finished 82nd, and Spokane, 44th.

The safest city in the U.S.: Fort Collins, Colorado, where the average driver will experience an auto collision every 13.9 years, which is 28.2 percent less likely than the national average. Boise came in second, and Sioux Falls, S.D., third.

Washington, D.C. is the worst city in America to drive in and finished dead last. Los Angeles and New York, as expected, have little to be proud of, scoring, respectively, a 181 and a 172.
