Local Western rockers Brent Amaker and the Rodeo teamed up with Walla Walla’s Proletariat Winery to produce their own red and white blends. The release party for the band’s latest full-length, “Year of the Dragon” is at Neumos this Saturday, and their wine will be a-flowin’. The vino is also on tap at Moe Bar.

In other drink news, you can skip the tie this year and give dad the gift of beer. On Father’s Day weekend, the Washington Brewers Festival is happening at Redmond’s Marymoor Park. The three-day event at 6046 W. Lake Sammamish Parkway NE includes 250 beers from more than 70 local breweries, as well as food trucks, live music and a brewers keg contest. Friday night’s festivities are 21+, but the rest of the weekend is family-friendly—there’s even a root beer garden for the kiddos.
