It’s common knowledge at this point that Seahawks’ running back Marshawn Lynch has a thing for Skittles. And mouth bling. And new contracts. But many football fans may not realize Lynch will soon make his motion-picture debut, appearing in the upcoming film Matt’s Chance with Lee Majors, Edward Furlong, Margot Kidder and Gary Busey (of all people). The movie is currently being shot in Seattle, and according to Danny O’Neil of the Seattle Times, will feature the Hawks’ running back sporting, “massive amounts of prop jewelry.”Apparently Lynch will play the part of “Massive Goon.” Awesome. Here’s a little more about Lynch’s big screen debut from O’Neil:He’s a security guard for the bad guy, and while he does have a line, the script also calls for him to get aced during a bank robbery before he even gets in the building.Naturally, O’Neil wasn’t the only local sports-media type to take an interest in Lynch’s acting debut. King5’s Chris Egan was on set Tuesday, describing the movie’s plot for NWCN.com:It’s about a mid-20-something cowboy who’s betrayed by his girlfriend. It sends him into a downward spiral. The movie tackles all the things Matt is going through, from the mafia to corrupt bankers to even God himself. If that doesn’t sound Oscar-worthy, we’re not sure what does.
