I love the holidays. Each year I help my parents decorate the house with hundreds of different lights, watch the classic Christmas movies like Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer (a personal favorite), and constantly walk around singing songs about good tidings and cheer.*See Also:

While the other 11 months of the year people wear simple, normal attire (usually), for some reason it’s understood in our culture that during December we can put on ridiculously tacky sweaters and frolic about, regardless of what we look like. I just don’t understand how people can walk out of their house in one without looking in a mirror and realizing how ugly the holiday sweater really is.
