Hardened criminal Joe Hyer.More details of the case against Olympia Councilmember Joe Hyer are coming out. And they’re a little underwhelming. As you may recall, last week Hyer was busted after twice selling weed to a confidential informant. The result of a month-long investigation.Police say that they found 10 pre-packaged bags of marijuana and $320 cash in Hyer’s home. They still won’t say how much pot they recovered. But Hyer’s lawyer claims the one plant cops did confiscate was the only thing left standing from his client’s attempts at growing his own stash.I wonder how Olympia residents feel knowing a month’s worth of man hours was spent busting a guy who couldn’t keep his plants from dying.
