For four days now, UW freshman Marizela Perez has been nowhere to be found. She left the Rainier Beach neighborhood around noon on Saturday, likely headed for the light rail station en route to the UW campus. At this point most of Seattle has likely seen her photo, but it never hurts to have a few more folks see it too.Perez is the cousin of controversial conservative pundit Michelle Malkin, who has used her vast online following to get the word out about her disappearance. Indeed, a Facebook group has been set up and Perez’s info has been batted around Twitter endlessly for the last few days. This is both a good thing and a bad thing, since the extended exposure has so far produced no leads.Malkin describes her as an “Asian female, 5’5” tall, 110 lbs, skinny build, asymmetrical bob with short bangs and brown/red highlights hairstyle, tattoo on left inner arm with the words ‘lahat ay magiging maayos’, last seen wearing denim jeans, light brown suede laced boots, possibly wearing green eye contacts, possibly carrying a plaid backpack with a Macbook Pro laptop, taking medication for depression.”Anyone who’s seen her is urged to call police or the family members listed on her Facebook page.
