For a man who named his company Vulcan, it’s no surprise Seattle’s Paul Allen is a Spock fan. Among the numerous Star Trek items in the billionaire science-fiction fan’s collection is none other than Leonard Nimoy’s tunic worn throughout the original Star Trek television series.
In honor of the late Leonard Nimoy, who passed away yesterday at the age of 83, Allen and the staff at the EMP have placed Nimoy’s original Spock tunic on display inside the rock and roll/science-fiction museum’s south lobby, which will be free and open to the public starting today and running through this weekend so that grieving Nimoy fans can pay their respects to the wise extraterrestrial who taught us all to live long and prosper.
