After much specualtion and rumors to the contrary, Marshawn Lynch did indeed

After much specualtion and rumors to the contrary, Marshawn Lynch did indeed show up at today’s mandatory opening Seahawks minicamp, according to ESPN.

Lynch was considering forgoing the camp in an attempt to bargain for a better contract. His current four-year contract, right now in its third year, is a $30 million package that pays out a base salary of $5 million a year. Lynch reportedly wants more money in case the team lets him go after his contract expires, given that he is currently 28 years old and the team already has a sucession plan in place.

If Lynch did miss the camp, he would’ve faced a $70,000 fine.
