In addition to this specialty, a passion for the fragrant, healing properties of essential oils plays a big part in the Center’s other services, which include waxing, massage, salt glow treatments, and facials.

Calluna Day Spa Hypnotherapy

Services: This holistic retreat center aims to assuage your over-worked mind and provide women the space to practice meditation, wellness, and relaxation. Calluna offers an apr賭treatment candle light luncheon and options for anti-aging skin care.

FloatZone.calm

Services: Sensory deprivation tanks, such as the one available at FloatZone, allow users to achieve a state of calm and relaxation. By eliminating external stimuli, the tanks promote stress relief and visualization and the floating properties achieved by the high salinity levels of the water induce a welcome sense of weightlessness. (Note: FloatZone is operated out of its proprietor’s home and is not a typical spa setting.)

Fremont Massage Spa

Holistic Reflections Wellness Center

Services: This center strives to help its clients achieve a higher state of well-being by providing them with nutritional, medical, and relaxation services. The Center’s Samadhi floatation tank is just one its highlights. Thirty minutes from downtown Seattle, the Center also offers personal trainers and a host of beauty services.

Lovingly created in a converted Victorian home, Napolitano offers algae body wraps, massage, haircuts, facials, and a unique tea bath experience. When the winter blues get you down, visit Napolitano for a sea salt exfoliation scrub followed by a smooth application of sunless tanning cream.

Robert Leonard Salon Day Spa

Services: With the belief that beauty is founded in self-confidence, inner peace, and health, this day spa proffers a multiplicity of healing, calming, and strengthening services. Enjoy traditional massage or water massage, and consider breaking down that unwanted cellulite in the thalassotherapy seawater tub.

TUBS

Services: OK, so this joint might fall outside the usual parameters of what a spa is, but you can’t argue with the draw of 12 private rooms, each with its own bubbling hot tub. At $16.95 per person, per hour, you might consider TUBS after you over-extend yourself at your company softball game, or just for a night of romance and relaxation. TUBS also offers tanning and massage.

Services: This spacious, upscale spa offers the usual goods and services in a serene, calming environment. Waxing, herbal tanning, facials, massage, and manicures see new light in this atmospheric setting.

Wax On Spa

Services: This new, Capitol Hill hole-in-the-wall spa offers a fresh and inviting array of fruit wraps, exfoliation services, waxing packages, and much more. Wax On also offers a variety of waxing services aimed at the unique hair removal needs of men.

Woodmark Hotel Spa

Services: This oasis at the Woodmark Hotel presents several bundled packages of spa services. The Journey to the Sea pack includes an algae lifting facial, a seaweed body wrap, and a seaweed pedicure and manicure. While the spa services are treats in and of themselves, you might also consider splurging for an after-spa meal specially prepared by the executive chef of Waters Lakeside Bistro.
