Richard Sherman has been killing it recently, not only earning himself the title of Campbell Soup spokesman, but also winning the vote to be on the cover of the Madden NFL ’15 video game.

But Sherman is trying to shift the spotlight slightly by paying due respect to his defensive fellows. Yesterday, Sherman came out and announced he has been lobbying Madden developer EA Sports to include the entire Legion of Boom on the cover.

“I’ve been trying to get the Legion of Boom on the cover, and EA has been fighting me,” Sherman said at a Seahawks press conference yesterday. “So if everybody wants to start a petition to get the Legion of Boom on the cover, here it is, here’s an open invitation.”

At the conference, Sherman said he wouldn’t be on the cover of the game without the Legion there backing him up. UPDATE: And here’s that petition!
