With its Motown horns and lovesick lyrics, Dude York’s “Hesitate” off January’s Dehumanize is an all-American jam that now has a brand new, fittingly all-American music video. Riding a solid Goonies vibe, the band dances around a drive-in, wanders through the woods with flashlights, and eventually finds a mysterious glowing car.

But really, whoever did the band’s wardrobe stole the show. Lead singer Peter Richard’s bone earring sways ever-so majestically throughout the clip, and how can you take your eyes off drummer Andrew Hall’s 101 Dalmatians pants? Look out for cameos from other local music scenesters like Zach Burba of “peace music” band Iji and Claire Nelson of FF, who just released a great debut LP (read a comic about it here).
