The way Savages’ lead singer Jehnny Beth power-whispers the chorus always gets me. “God, I wanna get rid of it/My house, my bed, my husbands/Husbands, husbands, husbands!” Its sincerity is what makes Savages’ post-punk fury so refreshing.
