Swearin’ & Waxahatchee Allison Crutchfield and her twin sister Kate played together in P.S. Eliot before going their separate ways. Allison formed Swearin’; Kate, Waxahatchee. Both bands released sophomore albums this year: Swearin’s Surfing Strange finds Allison testing her musical boundaries, while Waxahatchee’s Cerulean Salt has received well-deserved critical acclaim.
