I’ve never heard grooves so thick and syrupy and seemingly executed effortlessly. This is the kind of set EVERY jam band has gone for. And these guys just nailed it. I could have sat and listened to the intricacies all night. Too bad it was the worst venue possible for the act. We sat in church pews. Sure, it’s winter, and we can exactly do this thing outside, but a club would have at least been more conducive to the inevitable dancing, and generally loosened the place up a bit.More in the morning.TinariwenVieux Farka Toure
