The legendary rock photographer Jim Marshall passed away in his sleep last night at the age of 74. Marshall was prolific throughout his career of 50+ years and renowned for capturing some of rock and roll’s biggest names throughout the 60s and 70s, including this photo of Jimi Hendrix setting his guitar on fire at the 1967 Monterey International Pop Festival.
