Sportn’ Life’s Spaceman made his debut as a headliner at Chop Suey back in February 2009. Since then, the local rapper returned to his role as a hype-man for other MCs, including for label-mate Fatal Lucciauno in early December at the final installment of Go! Machine at the Croc. Flashforward to the first month of 2010, and Spaceman is back at the top of the marquee. On Jan. 16, the charismatic lyricist with the fashion sense and the stage presence of a Vegas showman returns for his second turn as the main attraction at Chop Suey. And apparently, there’s more on the horizon for Senor Space. “Might be my sneak mixtape release party! Gotta come to find out though!,” he taunts in a message posted online. “I got a lot of national shows. Might be the last time in a while u see Spaceman rock a Seattle stage, so come get close as you can, while you can! COME PARTY!”
