Seattle’s kings of the reissue, Light in the Attic, are kicking off a brand new partnership with the skateboarding, boozing, garage-dwellers down at Burger Records today.
Starting today and continuing on through July 22, Light in the Attic will release at least one cassette edition of from its catalog through Burger Records. “Each tape is hand-numbered and housed in old school hand-made tip-on jackets,” according to both of the record labels.
In a press release, LITA founder Matt Sullivan says, “Burger are the best. It’s not everyday you get to work with folks who love the good things in life: weed, cats and cassettes.”
This week’s releases are Rodriguez’s albums Cold Fact and Coming From Reality, both in limited 1000 copy runs. Here’s the full release schedule:
