To celebrate the sesquicentennial of the promotion to captain of AMERICA’S GREATEST TERRORIST, William Tecumseh Sherman (1820-1891), Bruce Springsteen will perform a suite of hymns, chants, and jingles inspired by the great general’s renowned fire march thru Georgia and other points South, with additional focus given to his little-known salting of farmland in and around Columbia, S.C., rendering it barren for decades, one of the earliest—and greatest!–eco-atrocities committed in the U.S. of A.

Numbers will include “War Is Heck,” “400 Miles of Scorched Rebel Butt,” “A Is for Atlanta, A Is for Ash,” “Eco-T in S.C.,” “Blame Grant, It Was His Idea,” “Hey There—Got a Match?” and as a special added treat, Blue Erster Cult’s “Burnin’ for You.”
