One of the funkiest men to ever live is playing a show in Seattle tonight. George Clinton along with an updated version of Parliament/Funkadelic are performing at the Showbox (SoDo) and we’ve got a pair of last minute tickets to giveaway. It’s one thing to listen to old songs like “Flashlight,” “Atomic Dog,” “Dr. Funkenstein,” and “Give Up the Funk (Tear the Roof of the Sucka)” on CD or vinyl, but it’s a whole other experience to see them performed live by Clinton himself. Since the clock is ticking (doors are at 8 p.m. this evening) the first person to email me with the words Funkadelic in the subject line wins the tickets. It’s really that simple.
