Now in its second year, Carnation’s Timber! Music Festival didn’t slow down

Now in its second year, Carnation’s Timber! Music Festival didn’t slow down a bit. Produced by Seattle-based booking agency Artist Home, the three-day fest had the special warm-and-fuzzy feeling that usually accompanies its events. By all accounts, attendees—from young, single hipsters to laid-back families—were all part of one big family and relaxed in a few fun-filled days of music, activities, delicious eats, and a few freebies (this year REI offered marshmallow-roasting, sunglasses, and free Kleen Kanteen water bottles for its members). The music was solid from beginning to end on Saturday, with jams from Everett sweethearts Fauna Shade, crazed rock anthems courtesy of Hounds of the Wild Hunt, and the mellow vibes of the Seattle Rock Orchestra. I even got to spend some quality time with Seattle pop darlings Tea Cozies. Here’s just a taste of the fun. Check out seattleweekly.com/reverb for more photos of yet another epic Timber! Fest.
