Natasha KrollLast week I had the pleasure of spending an evening with Luke and Stacy of Pony Timee for my column, Through @ 2; while that story focuses more on the twosome’s unlikely buddy-buddy relationship, it needs to be said that Pony Time’s music rocks it hard. It’s minimal and aggressive with a gritty, garage feel–you can listen to some tunes on their MySpace page or their Facebook page, which has my favorite of their songs, “Bad Behavior.” Pony Time’s playing at Cairo tonight with Detective Agency and Silly Goose, but if you have to miss that show they’re also playing at SW’s Reverb Local Music Festival on October 8.
