Like a lot of people, I’m listening to the songs on Pearl Jam’s new album, Backspacer, for the first time this afternoon. There is definitely a lot of passion here and the group sounds sure of itself again. “Just Breathe” is my favorite song so far. The live versions I’ve heard of Backspacer’s lead single, “The Fixer” sounded better than the album version. I’m curious what other people think of the record.
