Last night, friends of Nirvana and Susie Tennant, the lady who helped Nirvana rise to success, came together to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their album, Nevermind. Over 20 bands came to the EMP to perform Nirvana’s most notable songs. The event was intended to raise money for Susie Tennant’s battle with cancer, but the overall feeling of the show was that of utter reverence for Nirvana’s accomplishments.
