Just announced this morning: the Vic Chesnutt collaboration with Fugazi’s Guy Picciotto and members of Thee Silver Mt. Zion is coming to the Crocodile on November 27. For someone like me, November 27 seems far too far away. Their new record, At the Cut, is playing on my stereo as I type this, and it’s just as darkly gorgeous and weird as I had hoped when I blogged about it last week. Great news, for sure. Tickets go on sale this Saturday at 10 a.m.Also, the Jesus Lizard (who pretty much slayed at the Capitol Hill Block Party this weekend) will be back at Neumo’s on October 23.
