It’s that time of year when everyone complains a lot about KEXP doing it’s pledge drive. I know, I know…it’s annoying that your indie rock has to take a backseat to Cheryl and John trying to raise some dough to keep the station afloat, but there are other alternatives. Here’s a few I’ve been listening to, if you need suggestions:KUSF 90.3 FM:

San Francisco station. In the last few minutes, I heard music by the Dodos and Earth. Then they played some whacked out foreign shit that was totally trippy and funky. KUSF is actually my personal fave (thanks to Jennifer Maerz for tipping me off to this years ago)Hollow Earth Radio:

These people are fucking nuts at this station and play all sorts of whacked out shit. I just tuned in and heard disco.So, don’t fret. There are options during pledge drive season.
