It’s official: “Alejandro” is the third single to be released off Lady GaGa’s album The Fame Monster. Fashion photographer Stephen Klein will direct the video. (He’s responsible for the now infamous W Magazine spread featuring Bratt Pitt and then-rumored lover Angelina Jolie. You know, the one that really pissed off Jennifer Aniston.)What will GaGa and Klein’s collaboration bring? They’ve got high expectations to live up to, after the superstar’s most recent nine minute-plus video for “Telephone” featuring Beyonce, in which she poisons a diner full of customers and dances over their dead bodies. “Alejandro” pays homage to ABBA’s 1976 hit “Fernando” and Latin men. Here’s hoping the video includes the latter, preferably naked shirtless. Although it most likely won’t. Literal interpretations aren’t GaGa’s style.
