It’s been confirmed that Sub Pop will not be releasing Band of Horses’ just-announced third record, Infinite Arms. The band fulfilled a two record contract with Sub Pop with 2006’s Everything All The Time and 2007’s Cease To Begin but will not be returning to the local label for their next release. Why the cold shoulder, guys? It was Sub Pop that got you on David Letterman, Sub Pop that let Kid Cudi sample one of your songs, Sub Pop that got “The Funeral” licensed to be in that Ford commercial, and Sub Pop that got your songs played on TV shows like Gossip Girl, One Tree Hill, and 90210! What more do you want?!
