In the new issue of UK GQ, Jack White revealed that he’s recorded a song with someone a bit hipper than Loretta Lynn: Jay-Z. Says White:”I just did a record with Jay-Z. We did a song together a few weeks ago. It was incredible. I played him something that I’ve been kicking around for a while and he immediately came out with words for it. It’s unbelievable-sounding.”Some of Jay-Z’s past collaborations have been busts (Linkin Park?), but as far as I’m concerned, anything Jack White touches turns to gold. I’ve got high hopes for this track.
