I was pretty bummed out about the Keeper breaking up. But there’s a silver lining: Andrew Chapman is in a new metal band now called Princess (which is not quite as rad a name as “the Keeper” but is a pretty damn good thing to call a metal band). Princess is a four-piece, which consists of drummer Violet Severine, bassist Sam Wilder, guitarist Roddy Chops and Andrew Chapman on vox. They don’t have any songs up on their brand-new MySpace page yet, but the band’s playing a show at the Jewelbox on December 10 with Sex with Strangers and Nazca Lines. The show starts at 10 p.m. and costs $6. Here’s hoping they play at least one song about evil wizards.
