Hey, garage rock and psychedelic music fans! I know you like free stuff. And rum. Probably weed more than rum, but let’s assume you also like rum because Sailor Jerry’s is sponsoring a free show at Chop Suey on December 9 featuring Thee Oh Sees and the Night Beats. Thee Oh Sees’ grungy garage bop (especially Help) is one of the best things to happen to my record collection. And that the Night Beats are one of my top three favorite Seattle bands. If this show cost money, it would still probably sell out. Since it doesn’t, I strongly recommend you RSVP (and show up on the day of the show on the early side of the evening).
