French DJ/ producer Space Cowboy (Nik Dresti) is best known these days for being the guy that spins at electro-pop diva Lady GaGa’s shows. But he’s actually been active in the club scene for over a decade, remixing singles by Paul McCartney and Marilyn Manson hits into dance tracks. Space Cowboy hits Belltown Billiards tonight at 9 p.m. (Ladies free, guys $10.) Having seen him live multiple times, I can tell you he’s fun as hell to watch spin, something you can’t say about very many DJs. He just signed to a major U.S. record label (Cherrytree), so this is probably the last chance you’ll get to check him out in a small club setting. Remember, less than a year ago, Lady GaGa performed at Neighbors. And that shit ain’t ever happening again.
