Fiddler’s Inn

The devil, as the Charlie Daniels Band would have you believe, had to go all the way down to Georgia to find a fiddle-playing soul peddler. But you only have to drive up to Wedgwood to get yours. We’re not absolutely sure that you’re actually going to find a violin player ready to strike a deal at Fiddler’s Inn; we’re not all that positive that you’re going to find a violin player at all. But several nights per week, you will find live music (usually of the folk and/or bluegrass variety), and a damn fine open-mike night on Mondays. You will also find myriad microbrews, a nice mid-brow selection of wines, a quaint outdoor garden and seating area, and a truly great menu featuring sandwiches on locally made artisan breads and thick, doughy pizzas. 9219 35th Ave. N.E., 206-525-0752.
