Everyone Dies In Utah, except Michael YoungAs Seattle Weekly’s music intern, I spend a fair amount of time entering club listings into our database. The work can be kind of mundane, but as Erin Thompson has pointed out, the show listings at Studio Seven more than make up for this monotony. In just the past few weeks I’ve discovered bands with names like Leadership By Assault, Murderdeathkill and my personal favorite, Everyone Dies In Utah (although the new UW president seems to have made it out alive). Ridiculous band names aside, I discovered during my latest round of data entry that Studio Seven has outdone itself: check out this bill on May 26. For those who don’t feel like counting, there are 20 acts on the bill for a show that starts at 6:45. How this is going to work, I’m not sure. Will everyone be playing 10-minute sets? Will the show end at four in the morning? I’m actually considering going and checking this out. Any takers?
