Erin TateMinus the Bear will play a free in-store at Sonic Boom Capitol Hill on April 17.Minus the Bear will release their Dangerbird Records debut, Omni, on May 4. Right now you can head over to the band’s website to hear Omni’s first single, “My Time.” It’s not a very hard rocking song; instead there’s a cartoony synth squiggle that keeps popping up and a super-hooky chorus. The song’s a little flat for me, but maybe you’ll love it.Minus the Bear will be playing Sasquatch! on May 29 as part of their nationwide tour, but for a cheaper, sooner chance to check them out, go to the Capitol Hill Sonic Boom on Record Store Day (April 17) – they’ll be playing a free in-store at 2pm.Click here to stream and download a free mp3 of “My Time.”
