Eat Well

Sure, Bumbershoot’s about the music and the comedy and the arts. But you gotta eat, right? While you’ll find plenty of the usual festival suspects (all things deep fried or on a stick), I can’t in good faith really recommend those—though no judgment here if that’s what you end up with. Assuming that you care even a sliver about your meal or snack, here are my top three picks on what to eat between sets. NICOLE SPRINKLE

1. Stumbling Goat Bistro from Phinney Ridge: Serving pork-belly BLTs, soup, salad, and spritzers on Fisher Rooftop. When you need a full meal.

2. Pel’Meni, aka “The Dumpling Tzar”: Beef or potato Russian dumplings on Fisher Green. When you just need something tasty to help soak up the booze.

3. Biringer Farm: Strawberry shortcake, brownies, and smoothies on Key Roadway. When you want something sweet (from a real farm) that hasn’t been drenched in oil or coated with chocolate then popped on a stick.
