Clyde Peterson is not amused about getting his stuff jackedWhen 2020 Cycle, a bike shop in the Central District, hosts shows, they tend to be laid-back, cozy affairs. This bill is so full of good bands, it might get a little crowded, but the show is for a good cause: Clyde Peterson, an all-around nice chap and local songwriter whose projects include Your Heart Breaks and Cold Lake, had several thousand dollars worth of laptops, video cameras and equipment stolen out of his basement on June 19. Yes, there are about sixty good shows taking place this Saturday, but this one is really worth a stop. If you can’t make it, there’s a website where you can donate money to help Clyde replace what was lost. Its header is, appropriately, “SHIT GOT STOLEN.” Straight to the point. I like that.Anyway, the artists on the bill will be covering Clyde’s songs, and there are a lot of familiar names on the roster, among them Kimya Dawson, LAKE, Triumph of Lethargy and the Pica Beats.
