Ben OlsonKaylee Cole: talented and beautifulPickwick, Shenandoah Davis, Kaylee Cole and Dane Ueland at the Sunset Tavern, 9 p.m., $6This evening’s Sunset Tavern show is going to be a great showcase of local folk and pop songwriting: Shenandoah Davis (of Grand Hallway fame) and Kaylee Cole, both accomplished pianists with lovely, lilting voices. Kaylee Cole hails from Spokane, as does Dane Ueland, whose songs are wispy, ghostly little things that leave a lasting impression. Pickwick is sort of the outlier– the songs are more substantial, more up-tempo and decidedly heavier — but it’s just as worthy of your attention. If you’re looking for more of a party setting, though, there’s Mad Rad and Macklemore at Neumos, which is free and will be, as always, a fun time. Doors are at 8 p.m.
