Instrumental prowess is the clear focal point of Science!’s eponymous album. The duo of Justin Stang and Jim Elenteny (and for this album, strangely enough, Blind Melon drummer Glen Graham) solos and strums with abandon over the album’s brief 25 minutes.

The songs themselves—standard folk/bluegrass/country-type foot-stompers—aren’t particularly memorable, but Science! plays them better than most could.
