The InsurgenceRelease: Elimi-NationLabel: InnerstrengthRelease date: Out nowWith the appearance of an occasional umlaut over the “U” in their name like fellow Seattle band The Accused, The Insurgence play a similar hybrid of punk and thrash with socially conscious lyrics, chromatic guitar riffs and shouted vocals. The 11-track release was produced by local loud rock legend Jack Endino and there’s not much melody to be found, but there’s not supposed to be. As their name suggests, The Insurgence are pissed off and think you should be too. The band play the Kraken in the U-District on Oct. 26th and you can check out a video after the jump.
