Alissa AndersonIn this week’s issue, we previewed the Vetiver/Gold Leaves/Cumulus show happening at Columbia City Theater this Saturday, March 17 in both the Short List and Through @ 2. Saturday’s Saint Patrick’s Day, and all three of these bands are all-American, but hopefully they’ll throw some Thin Lizzy or Cranberries covers into their sets in honor of the holiday. If you’re looking to spend your Saint Paddy’s Day with some bands that are decidedly less rambunctious than Stiff Little Fingers but a lot more interesting than Snow Patrol, the show starts at 9 p.m. and tickets are $10. We’re also giving away a pair of free tickets. To play, email me at ethompson@seattleweekly.com by tomorrow (that’s Thursday, March 15) at 5 p.m. You’ll be entered in a random drawing to win the tickets. Good luck (of the Irish)!
