Finding new ways to celebrate 4-20 together – virtually!

Hashtag Cannabis eyes opening of brand new Seattle store and community café

While current social distancing measures will change how Seattle residents mark 4-20 this year, Hashtag Cannabis has lots of reasons – and ways – to celebrate!

On the heels of its brand new Redmond store reopening soon, Hashtag’s Fremont location is also on the move to 224 Nickerson St., opening later this month.

Customers will appreciate the expanded display space for both product and information, and dedicated parking. Echoing the plans for the Redmond location, you’ll also find an adjacent Hashtag CBD & Supply Co. and all-ages café, a comfortable community gathering space and a place to host events, once it’s again safe to gather.

“We want to be a trusted, reliable source for well-curated hemp-derived CBD products, in a space that leverages our team’s extensive knowledge acquired over our five years,” explains Hashtag’s Christine Bryant Cohen. At the same time, “we love community, and public events have been a great way for us to give back, and showcase local art and music, so opening a community coffee shop just made sense.”

And with just days left until opening, there’s lots happening at the existing location, nearby at 3540 Stone Way N.

Exclusive options on sale: Explore Hashtags’s online store for this week’s 4-20 sales, valid April 13 to 22. Highlights include several exclusive strains of cannabis flower, including Lodi Dodi and Purple Persuasion from Emerald Jane’s, Whyte Urkle, from Sweetwater Farms, and Pink Pistil and Rainbow Beltz from Lazy Bee Gardens.

Additionally, you’ll find 30 percent off all online orders of full-price products from April 13 to 22. The measures are part of the store’s efforts to support social distancing, Christine explains.

“We know that high of a discount would normally bring lots of people into our store, so we’re extending it to online orders only and over several days, to keep people at home, safe, as long as possible, but still able to stock up on their favorites in time to celebrate on April 20,” Christine says. “We encourage folks to explore and order online, then we’ll text when the order is ready. It gives us a little more space for social distancing for our customers and staff.”

Celebrating in song: The Hashtag Cannabis team is also revisiting last year’s collab with cannabis grower Heylo and recording artist and DJ SassyBlack. “Join us for a 4-20 virtual disco beginning at 4 p.m. @HeyloCannabis Instagram where we’ll all hang out together online,” Christine says.

More on the move

Hashtag’s Fremont store isn’t the only one on the move. If you’re over in Redmond, visit that brand new store, opening this week on Leary Way, where you’ll find similar celebratory sales.
